For a remote fur
trading outpost on the Canadian prairie
tundra, Edmonton has a sizable IT community. In the midst of
an economic boom, business grows up, and IT vaguely follows along. Some say it's a Java town,
others, a .NET town. A few of us aren't content with either.
Edmonton Rails
Enthusiasts is an informal group of like-minded
individuals coming together for discussion and collaboration in the
hopes that we'll all be better people for it. Rails, the
"Rails Way", Web 2.0, doing "less", and complaining about
potholes. That's us.
